Engine Technician

Mount Pleasant Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram is seeking a skilled and certified Engine Technician to join our growing service team. This role is ideal for a Stellantis-trained powertrain technician with strong diagnostic ability and experience performing complex engine work on Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, and Ram vehicles.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair internal engine concerns including timing components, top-end, short block, cylinder heads, and gaskets

• Perform long-block and short-block replacements as needed

• Execute Stellantis warranty repairs and recall campaigns with precision

• Collaborate with advisors and warranty admin on accurate documentation

• Complete multi-point inspections and advise on long-term maintenance needs

• Use Stellantis scan tools and digital repair systems (wiTECH, TechAuthority)

• Maintain a clean and safe workspace and follow all dealership safety procedures

What We’re Looking For:

• Stellantis (Mopar) Engine or Powertrain Certification required or in progress

• 3+ years of engine or heavy mechanical repair experience

• Ability to read and interpret OEM diagnostic data, schematics, and service bulletins

• High attention to detail and workmanship

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

• ASE certifications a plus

• Diesel experience (Ram 2500/3500) is a bonus, but not required
