Diesel Mechanic

Mount Pleasant Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram is actively seeking an experienced Diesel Technician to join our growing service team. This is a prime opportunity for a Stellantis-certified heavy-line or diesel specialist who takes pride in their workmanship, values efficiency, and wants to be part of a dealership that’s building for the future.

We’re a brand-new, family-owned facility with a strong pipeline of Ram 2500/3500 and HD truck volume—and we’re looking for someone who’s ready to take ownership of diesel service and repair to grow our commercial fleet service operations. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair diesel engine systems (Cummins), transmissions, DEF/DPF emissions systems, and related components

• Perform warranty and customer-pay work with accuracy and efficiency

• Complete recall campaigns, technical service bulletins, and powertrain diagnostics

• Support heavy-line repairs including long blocks, turbochargers, EGR systems, and fuel delivery systems

• Perform thorough MPI inspections and document recommendations

• Collaborate with Service Advisors and Parts Department to ensure timely repairs and accurate estimates

• Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow all safety procedures

Qualifications:

• Stellantis (Mopar) diesel certification preferred

• 3+ years of experience as a diesel or heavy-line technician

• Strong diagnostic and repair ability with Cummins-powered Ram trucks

• Proficiency with scan tools, service manuals, and recall bulletins

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

• ASE certifications a plus

• Must be able to lift heavy components and perform physically demanding work
