Used Car Technician

Mount Pleasant Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram is seeking an experienced Used Vehicle Technician to help inspect, diagnose, and recondition our pre-owned inventory for retail delivery. This is a high-impact role within a brand-new facility serving the greater Charleston market with a high volume Certified Pre-Owned Vehicle Operation.

What You’ll Do:

• Perform comprehensive multi-point inspections on incoming used vehicles

• Diagnose mechanical and cosmetic concerns and provide recommendations for reconditioning

• Complete repairs efficiently and accurately: brakes, suspension, A/C, drivability, engine, electrical, etc.

• Collaborate with Service Advisors and the Used Car Manager to prioritize work and manage turnaround time

• Ensure vehicles meet dealership quality and safety standards prior to front-line display

• Document all work performed per CDJR and dealership policy

What We’re Looking For:

• Minimum 2 years of automotive technician experience, preferably with used or reconditioning focus

• Familiarity with Stellantis/Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram vehicles a strong plus

• Ability to efficiently diagnose and repair a wide range of makes and models

• High standards for workmanship and accountability

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

• ASE or OEM certifications preferred but not required
