Position Summary
Bengal Crane & Rigging is seeking an experienced Light Truck / Engine Mechanic to support our fleet of light-duty and medium-duty pickup trucks. This role is focused heavily on GM-based trucks, including 1500, 2500, and 3500 series pickups, with a strong emphasis on gasoline engine diagnostics and repair, especially GM 5.3L gas engines.

This is not a lube-tech-only role and not primarily a heavy diesel mechanic position. We are looking for a mechanic who can think independently, diagnose issues, remove and install engines and transmissions, and complete repairs from start to finish with minimal supervision.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with pickup trucks, gasoline engines, drivability issues, diagnostics, electrical troubleshooting, engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, and general light truck repair. ASE certifications are helpful but not required.

The Mechanic reports directly to the Service Manager.
