Position Summary

Promotive is hiring an experienced ASE Master Automotive Technician for a highly respected independent repair shop in Timonium, MD. Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair domestic, Asian, and European vehicles
• Perform advanced drivability, electrical, suspension, steering, and check engine light diagnostics
• Complete brake, suspension, steering, and general mechanical repairs
• Perform timing belt and timing chain repairs
• Conduct alignments and suspension diagnostics
• Utilize scan tools and digital vehicle inspection software effectively
• Communicate repair findings clearly with service advisors and teammates
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace
• Mentor and support other technicians as needed

Qualifications

• ASE Master Technician certification REQUIRED
• Minimum of 5+ years of Automotive Technician experience in a professional shop
• Strong diagnostic, drivability, and electrical troubleshooting skills
• Maryland State Inspection License REQUIRED
• Experience with advanced diagnostics and repair procedures
• Welding experience preferred
• Ability to mentor and assist other technicians
• Valid drivers license with clean driving record
• Ability to pass background check and drug screen
• Team-oriented attitude with strong work ethic
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
