In this role, your technical leadership helps ensure our trucks are safe, dependable, and ready when customers need them to keep their businesses moving.

Wh Youll Do:

You will perform standard and complex mechanical repairs, including warranty work, on a fleet of newer cargo vans and box trucks with minimal technical supervision. This includes diagnosing and repairing engines, transmissions, exhaust systems, brakes, electrical systems, air conditioning, and onboard computer systems.

You may act as a technical expert and mentor to other technicians, supporting diagnostics, repair stregies, and best practices. You may also be required to drive Budget Trucks on public roads for testing, repair verificion, or transport needs.

By keeping vehicles opering safely and efficiently, your work directly reduces downtime, supports fleet availability, and ensures a reliable customer experience.

Wh Were Looking For:

• Valid Drivers License (Class A, B, or C)

• Minimum of 3 years of professional automotive or truck repair experience

• Current ASE certificions (minimum of 3), with the ability to obtain 2 additional ASE certificions within the first year

• Strong knowledge across ASE areas including, but not limited to: Engine Repair, Drivetrain/Axles, Suspension/Steering, Brakes, Electrical, Heing/Air Conditioning, Engine Performance, and Light Vehicle/Diesel

• Willingness to work outdoors in all weher conditions and near a mechanical shop with modere noise levels

• Must have a complete set of tools required for automotive and truck repair and maintenance

• Basic computer skills, including typing and da entry

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, continuously stand, bend, reach, walk, sit and kneel frequently, enter, exit and drive vehicles

• Must be least 21 years of age and legally authorized to work in the United Stes

• Must be able to obtain DOT medical clearance

• This position requires regular, on-site presence and cannot be performed remotely

• Previous Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) experience is preferred and considered a strong advantage
