This position will perform preventive and routine maintenance to ensure equipment is operational and safe. The type of maintenance will include buildings, grounds, machinery & racking (assignments based on the associate's skill set). The assigned shift hours are flexible with a "standard" expectation of 10am to 6:30pm Mon - Fri with overtime expected during peak season
May also include some PM shift coverage at least a few days per week.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Intermediate ability to troubleshoot, repair and maintain equipment. Needs to have a good understanding of the equipment and how it operates
- Ability to understand equipment inspections as they relate to drivers, motors, belts
- Daily duties may include equipment PM's, project tasks, work orders and battery changes
- Ability to work in temperature zones from zero (0) degrees to ambient
- Utilize forklift equipment and be able to assist at heights up to 40 ft.
- Follow all company polices and procedures while adhering to the company safety guidelines
- Provide direction to seasonal associates
- Assist supervisor and fill in when supervisor is not available
- High School diploma or equivalent along with 5+ years of experience within an industrial environment
- Previous forklift/boom lift or the ability to become certified by completing company training on the equipment
- Mechanical aptitude along with experience using basic hand and power tools
- Ideal candidate has previous electrical experience in wiring specification along with equipment control devices
- Must be able to read and understand blueprints
- Must have ability to operate tools and heavy equipment to perform inspections and repairs within facility
- Able to complete company training Lock Out/Tag Out, Arc Flash and Hot Work permits
