What is A.D.A.S.?

Advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) are groups of electronic technologies that assist drivers in driving and parking functions. Through a safe human-machine interface, ADAS increase car and road safety. ADAS use automated technology, such as sensors and cameras, to detect nearby obstacles or driver errors, and respond accordingly.  As most road accidents occur due to human error, ADAS are developed to automate, adapt, and enhance vehicle technology for safety and better driving. ADAS are proven to reduce road fatalities by minimizing human error. Safety features are designed to avoid accidents and collisions by offering technologies that alert the driver to problems, implementing safeguards, and taking control of the vehicle if necessary. Adaptive features may automate lighting, provide adaptive cruise control, assist in avoiding collisions, incorporate satellite navigation and traffic warnings, alert drivers to possible obstacles, assist in lane departure and lane centering, provide navigational assistance through smartphones, and provide other features.

What is A.D.A.S. Calibration?

ADAS calibration involves aligning these sensing devices in your car so that they function properly. A dynamic calibration process will require the technician to take your car out for a drive, while a static calibration process uses specialist tools to calibrate the ADAS while your car is stationary.

Why This Matters

All of these new technologies on your car help make the world a safer place to drive. They are designed to assist in accident avoidance on the road, with the help of pre-collision braking, blind spot systems, adaptive cruise control, night vision, front radar, and other ADAS systems.

However, in the event of a collision, these systems are no longer operating at OEM specifications. To ensure that your car’s safety systems return to factory settings, it is imperative that they are re-calibrated to specific and rigorous standards.

An improperly calibrated ADAS system is at a high risk of malfunctioning while you’re driving, defeating its original purpose of safety on the road.

How We Ensure Driver Safety

To ensure driver safety, we calibrate to specific OEM standards, and our shops are laboratory-like in setting. Our shops are proud to say that we comply with the following standards in both calibrations and our shops :

· Leveled floor to OEM specifications

· 13,000 lumen lights that are dimmable and evenly spread throughout the calibration space

· No outside lighting can enter the shop

· No metal or reflective objects inside the shop

· PPG OEM paint color on the shop floor for camera calibrations

· Accurate to the millimeter calibrations to the spec of OE procedures

· State-of-the-art calibration equipment

· Multiple OE softwares at our disposal

Our Owners

Kip and Laurin Noe are the masterminds behind the creation of Pro ADAS Calibration.
Kip and Laurin are graduates of Marshall University. He and Laurin first used their tireless business mind in the 1990's to bring the first cellphones to their hometown of Ashland, KY, via their business Greyhorse Cellular.
In 1995, they launched Hail Pro, a paintless dent repair business that was successful not only at the hometown level, but nationally and internationally.
In 2022, recognizing the need for proper ADAS calibrations in his area, they launched Pro ADAS Calibration, becoming only the sixth independent shop in the US to dedicate themselves to safety and the realm of ADAS.
Kip and Laurin have an unwavering dedication to the safety of vehicles and their drivers in their beloved hometown. They strive to create a professional atmosphere where OEM procedures are followed to the letter.
When they are not running Pro ADAS Calibration, Kip and Laurin have a myriad of hobbies. Laurin enjoys weekends on the family horse farm, grazing her beloved retired horse, Tyra, and reading books with her daughter Annabel and sister Kelly. She also has a magical green thumb, and she is famous for her deck garden that flourishes every summer.
Kip is an enjoyer of video games and action movies. Ever the prankster, he enjoys lightheartedly riffing his family and large circle of friends.
