Used Car Technician Job Responsibilities

Perform thorough inspections of pre-owned vehicles to identify mechanical, electrical, and cosmetic concerns

Use advanced diagnostic skills to efficiently identify and resolve issues

Complete necessary repairs and maintenance to bring vehicles to frontline-ready condition

Work independently and collaboratively to meet reconditioning timelines and inventory goals

Maintain accurate documentation of repairs, services, and inspections

QualificationsUsed Car Technician Qualifications

Proven automotive technician experience is required

(Used vehicle reconditioning experience strongly preferred)

Solid understanding of vehicle systems, diagnostics, and repair procedures

Ability to work independently, efficiently, and with minimal supervision

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship

Corporate hiring requirements: 18 years or older with a clean driving record, a valid driver's license, the ability to pass a criminal background check, and a drug screen.
