MISSION STATEMENT
GCT Chauffeured Services provides professional ground transportation. Building on the fundamentals of hospitality and privacy, we provide the ideal transportation experience for travelers, vacationers, and executives. The primary focus of each GCT employee is taking the stress of travel away from our clients and providing them with safety and security as we pay attention to every detail, no matter how large or small the job is.
POSITION SUMMARY
It is the primary responsibility of the fleet mechanics to provide excellent preventative and responsive maintenance as they facilitate the daily support of 75 vehicle fleet. All duties are to be performed in accordance with company policies, practices and procedures.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Efficient scheduling of PM with dispatch and effective communication to ensure flawless execution of GCT fleet up time needs and optimal use of company vehicles.
Add value to, and assist with, reaching company goals by taking ownership in your position, and assisting with other responsibilities as needed
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
Preventive Maintenance: Performing routine inspections, oil changes, tire rotations, and lubrication to prevent costly on-road breakdowns.
Diagnostics & Troubleshooting: Utilizing advanced diagnostic scanners and multimeters to identify root causes of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
Repairs & Overhauls: Fixing or replacing worn components like brakes, transmissions, steering systems, and engines.
Roadside Assistance: Traveling to remote locations or sending tow requests to handle emergency repairs when a vehicle breaks down.
Record Keeping: Maintaining accurate logs for all repairs, inspections, and parts used to track the lifecycle and maintenance history of each asset.
Parts Management: Monitoring inventory, ordering necessary replacement parts, and maintaining an organized, safe workshop environment.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/CERTIFICATION/LICENSURE
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
Experience: 1-3 years related experience preferred
