Group 1 Toyota Hub City is part of the fast growing Group 1 Automotive, a leader in automotive retail sales and service.
We are growing and looking to add Express Lube Technicians/Mechanics to work with our Quality Dealerships representing a Quality Product! Our Service Technicians should be passionate about customer service, take pride in their work and enjoy being part of a winning team that cares about employees.
Responsibilities:- Perform oil changes, fluid services, and routine vehicle maintenance efficiently and accurately, following dealership and factory standards
- Inspect vehicles for basic safety and maintenance items including tires, brakes, belts, hoses, and filters
- Rotate tires and check/adjust tire pressures
- Document all services performed and inspection findings accurately
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Road-test vehicles when necessary to verify completed work
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures
- Provide timely updates to service advisors regarding vehicle status and recommended services
- Participate in ongoing training to expand technical knowledge and skill set
- Uphold company values in all interactions with customers, coworkers, and vendors
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver license.
- Basic understanding of automotive systems (engine, brakes, tires, fluids)
- Ability to perform routine maintenance services, including:
- Oil and filter changes
- Tire rotation and pressure checks
- Fluid checks and topaoffs (transmission, coolant, brake, power steering)
- Battery testing and replacement
- Visual inspections of belts, hoses, and filters
- Familiarity with basic hand and power tools
- Ability to follow manufacturer and shop service procedures
