Express Service Technician

Location: J.C. Lewis Mazda

Pay: $18-20/hour, based on experience

We’ve proudly served the community since 1912 and are looking for a skilled lube technician to join our team of dedicated professionals at J.C. Lewis Mazda and play a crucial role in the maintenance and care of our customers' vehicles. You will be responsible for performing oil changes, tire rotations, and other basic vehicle maintenance tasks. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, has a strong work ethic, and is committed to delivering high-quality service to our customers.

What You'll Do:

• Perform routine automotive maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks
• Inspect vehicles for additional service needs and communicate findings to service advisors
• Ensure all work is completed efficiently and accurately
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines
• Assist other technicians and service personnel as needed
• Stay current with industry trends and training

What We're Looking For :

• Previous experience as a lube technician or similar role is preferred
• Basic knowledge of automotive systems and components
• Ability to operate standard automotive service equipment
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a positive attitude
• Team player with good communication skills
• Physical ability to lift heavy objects like tires and wheels
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
• Ability to pass a background check and drug test
• Age 19 or older

Education and Certifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Relevant technical or vocational training is a plus
• ASE or similar certification is a bonus
