Responsibilities

Complete dis-assembly of vehicle to assist Collision Estimor with preparing a 100% Repair Plan

Ensure all needed repairs identified to elimine supplements and minimize repair time

Plan work procedure: follow work order as assigned

Remove upholstery, accessories, electrical and hydraulic window, and se opering equipment and trim to gain access to damaged area of vehicle if needed. Store parts on carts or cover to elimine potential damage

Mend damaged body and fenders by hammering out or filling in dents and welding broken parts; ensure all gaps and fits are to industry standards

Opere a variety of hand and power tools as needed (welder, soldering equipment, cutting torch, blocks, hammers, wrenches, sander, spray guns, etc.)

Fill depressions with body filler

Remove damaged fenders, panels, and grills; and bolts or welds replacement parts in position and reassemble after parts are painted; ensure all gaps and fills are to industry standards

File, grind, and sand repaired surfaces with 120-grit paper before turning vehicle over to the Paint Dept.

Aim headlamps and repair or replace defective parts

Inspect and test drive repaired vehicles to check for compliance with safety and quality standards

Comply with all safety rules, guidelines, and standards

Perform other reled duties as assigned including, but not limited to washing cars, cleaning the shop, assisting other teammes, etc.

Qualificions

Must be least 18 years of age

Must have a valid drivers license

Ability to effectively communice with others

Ability to read and understand instructions, written estimes, and work orders

Multi-tasker, adapts easily to fast-paced environment

Physical & Environmental

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use their hands and is required to talk and hear.

The employee is frequently required to stand, sit, and walk occasionally for long periods a time.

The employee may occasionally be required to reach with hands, and arms to move objects up to 20 -50 pounds.

Specific visual abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus.

In addition, abilities for assessing the accuracy, neness, and thoroughness of the work assigned are required.
