Auto Parts Counter and Sales Representative Location: Harrisburg, PA 17112 Schedule: Mon - Fri Day shift Hourly Rate: $17- $19 Position Summary The Auto Parts Counter and Sales Representative provides knowledgeable, friendly service to customers in our showroom and through multiple communication channels. This role supports both in-person retail operations and call center activities, ensuring an exceptional customer experience for automotive enthusiasts. A strong understanding of automotive parts, especially classic and modern Mustangs, is key to success in this position. Key Responsibilities Greet and assist customers in the showroom with selecting and purchasing automotive parts Answer questions about product specifications, availability, and compatibility Process orders, returns, and exchanges accurately and efficiently Support the call center by answering incoming sales calls and assisting in the queue Provide expert guidance and resolve customer inquiries over the phone Manage and update work tickets, ensuring timely resolution Engage customers through live chat to provide real-time support Maintain a clean and organized showroom and counter area Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations Stay current on product knowledge, industry trends, and new releases Assist with inventory tasks including restocking and cycle counts Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications High school diploma or GED required; automotive education is a plus At least one year of relevant experience preferred, ideally in a call center or automotive retail environment Strong customer service and communication skills Ability to handle customer concerns professionally and effectively Comfortable working across phone, ticketing systems, and live chat channels Basic math and problem-solving skills related to orders and pricing Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM or ERP systems Pay and Benefits Hourly Rate: $17.00 to $19.00 per hour, based on experience Bonus program eligibility after 6 months Paid time off Company paid holidays Medical, dental, and vision insurance with affordable options Health savings account with company contribution Life and short-term disability insurance 401(k) with 4 percent company match and profit sharing Employee assistance program Casual dress Who We Are Founded in 1985 by two friends with a shared passion for classic Mustangs, CJ Pony Parts is dedicated to helping enthusiasts enjoy the restoration and performance hobby.
