Light Duty Automotive Oil Change Technician

Poquet Auto is seeking a dependable Light Duty / Oil Change Technician to join our team in Golden Valley, Minnesota. This position is ideal for someone looking to start or grow a career in the automotive industry. The technician will perform routine maintenance services while learning proper repair procedures in a professional, well-equipped shop environment.

Key Responsibilities
Perform oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks
Inspect vehicles for basic safety and maintenance needs
Replace filters, wiper blades, batteries, and light bulbs
Check and maintain proper tire pressure
Perform courtesy inspections and report findings to Service Advisors or Technicians
Safely lift and support vehicles using proper equipment
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Follow all safety procedures and shop policies

Qualifications & Skills
Previous automotive experience preferred but not required
Willingness to learn and grow within the automotive field
Strong work ethic and attention to detail
Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
Basic mechanical aptitude
Valid drivers license
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
