POSITION REQUIRES DRIVING A COMPANY VEHICLE FROM SHOP LOCATION OUT TO CONSTRUCTION SITES DAILY.

Local construction company seeking full time field service lube technician.

BDZ Construction is searching for a Heavy Equipment Fuel and Lube Technician. This position is responsible for daily job site maintenance of heavy equipment. Also performs minor field repairs where possible and reports condition of vehicle and equipment conditions to Supervisor.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Daily greasing and preventive maintenance on all equipment in a safe and timely manner.
Light troubleshooting/repair on all equipment.
Ensure each piece of equipment is greased, blow out cabs, tire pressure checked, track adjustment checked, inspected for leaks, addressed for minor blown hoses and minor repairs are completed.
Replace oils and filters on vehicles and heavy equipment.
Properly fill out digital work orders.
Take fluid samples and fill out reports.

Understands company safety program and follows appropriate protocols when working on equipment.

Heavy equipment (loaders, excavators, backhoes etc.) experience a plus but willing to train motivated individuals.

Skills, knowledge and abilities

Mechanical abilities.
Have a positive attitude every day and take pride in your work
Be a team player
Ability to lift and carry 50lbs or more
Capable of keeping records organized
Self driven
Keep a clean work environment
Able to climb in, on, and around equipment with flexibility for awkward reaches and positions
CLEAN DRIVING RECORD
OVER 25 YEARS OF AGE

Schedule:

Full time position, start at 7:00am Monday through Friday with overtime possibly required daily
