Mechanic, Fleet Maintenance Auto Vehicle - Moorhead

Work for Moorhead! The City of Moorhead is seeking a skilled Fleet Maintenance Mechanic to join our Public Works team. This position performs intermediate-level work maintaining and repairing City vehicles and equipment, conducting inspections, implementing preventative maintenance schedules, and ensuring reliable operation of sanitation, street, and fleet equipment.
Schedule: MondayFriday, 7:00 a.m.3:30 p.m. No evenings or weekends!
Hiring Range: $30.65$31.87/hour ($63,767$66,308 annually), with a full range up to $43.13/hour.
Employees receive annual step increases and a 6% COLA in January 2027.
REQUIRES: One year of auto or diesel mechanic work experience. HS Diploma or GED, CDL Class A and MN Commercial Vehicle Inspector Cert within 1 year--training provided.
