Job Description:
Do you love fixing cars or trucks but want a bigger challenge? We are looking for a Mechanic to join our mining team!
Auto mechanics are welcome to apply! If you can fix a car, we can teach you how to fix our giant mining trucks. You will work on some of the biggest machines in the world and help keep our mine running safely.
Responsibilities:
- Fix and Service Machines: You will do regular oil changes, fix broken parts, and make sure machines are safe to drive.
- Find the Problem: You will use tools and computers to figure out why a machine isn't working.
- Change Big Parts: You will take out old engines or transmissions and put in new ones.
- Stay Safe: You will always wear your safety gear and follow the rules to keep yourself and your teammates safe.
Education: High School
- Technical diploma or certification in a mechanical or electrical discipline with a minimum of 3 years of related
experience with industry-specific equipment.
Experience: 36 months
Physical:
- Will need to pass basic physical and 50 lbs lift test
Skills:
- Experience: You have worked as an auto mechanic, diesel mechanic, or went to a trade school.
- Tools: You own your own basic hand tools.
- Good Attitude: You show up on time, work hard, and like working with a team.
- Safety First: You care about safety and follow rules carefully.
- Requirements: You must have a valid driver's license and be able to pass a drug test and medical check.
