At CarFix Auto Repair, we don't just offer jobs; we offer career paths and a chance to be part of something exceptional. WHAT YOUR TYPICAL DAY WILL LOOK LIKE: 1. Open the business, organize and write up drop off vehicles, follow up on work status in the shop. 2. Answer phones, address customer's needs, direct calls to the correct person, take messages. 3. Schedule customer's vehicles, verify upcoming appointments, follow up on missed appointments, work to get the needed number of vehicles scheduled each day and week. 4. Manage workflow, assign technicians work, follow up on that work and keep work constantly moving in the shop. 5. Write estimates for well-planned work that will benefit our customers and can be performed properly and efficiently with high quality results. 6. Sell automotive service, parts, repairs and diagnostics while maintaining an average of 58% gross profit or better. 7. Build positive relationships with other staff members, supervisors, customers and vendors. 8. Perform quality checks on completed vehicles as a second set of eyes to ensure we deliver top quality to our customers. 9. Organize and maintain all aspects of work in a timely manner to maximize production and efficiency. This will include: estimates, sales, workflow, arranging deliveries, assigning work, and other job related responsibilities. 10. Make sure the schedule is always full by reaching out to customers via internal marketing. 11. Close down procedures. SKILLS THAT WILL HELP YOU SHINE IN THIS ROLE: MINIMUM OF 3 YEARS EXPERIENCE - The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of successful experience selling service for a professional auto repair business or similar professional establishment and will be very reliable. PROACTIVE WORK STYLE - We don't like chasing problems, it just wastes too much time and reduces results. Results driven individuals do best here because they ensure the process and systems are followed. ATTENTION TO DETAIL - Ensure the store is delivering the best quality work possible. CUSTOMER FOCUS - Monitor and make sure every customer is treated with the utmost respect and care addressing their needs while selling services profitably. ACTION BIAS - The candidate must like working in a fast-paced work environment and be able to make quick, accurate decisions that result in increased production and happy customers. Being open to new ideas is critical. PROVEN SALES ABILITY - The Service Advisor is a powerful generator of sales within the shop. They need to be able to write estimates for repairs, source parts, and help to organize workflow and assign work to technicians.
