About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to the Auto Hobby Center on Ellsworth AFB .
This position is regular part time. You are guaranteed 20 hours, however, could work up to 40 hours.
As a regular employee you are eligible to earn leave and other NAF Benefits.
Must be able to frequently lift, and carry objects weighing up to 40 pounds, and occasionally, objects weighing over 50 pounds.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.
Qualifying Experience:
Must have experience in the maintenance and repair of diesel and gasoline powered engines which included the full range of repairing, disassembling, troubleshooting and overhauling of these engines, and provide all of the following: Knowledge of the makeup, operation, and installation of complex major systems and assemblies to troubleshoot and repair a variety of systems or to rebuild one or more systems; knowledge to test and troubleshoot components and systems to locate equipment defects; ability to interpret and apply manufacturer's repair manuals and technical specifications, schematics and engineering drawings, diagnostic codes, computer printouts, and safety manuals; and the ability to operate electronic test equipment.
Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. This position does not allow for education substitution.
FOREIGN EDUCATION: Education completed in foreign colleges or universities may be used to meet the requirements. You must show proof the education credentials have been deemed to be at least equivalent to that gained in conventional U.S. education program. It is your responsibility to provide such evidence when applying.
