Trailer Technician
Benefits :
Hourly Rate Range: $24.00-36.00
Additional hourly premiums available (shift ad skill-based)
$3,000.00 Sign on bonus program

The Trailer Technicians will work in conjunction with the Service Writer and the other Technicians to
complete preventative maintenance and repairs on the TransX fleet in a timely and efficient manner by diagnosing problems found during inspections and prescribing the correct remedial action.
Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years of experience as a Trailer Technician
A journeyman or having a safety inspection certificate would be an asset
Ability to obtain CVIP Certification
Knowledge of common occupational skills
Conducts PMs, wheel re-torques, general maintenance and inspections, minor structural repairs, panel and scuff liner repairs, has experience in torch and welding capabilities, performs brake work, tire work, and wheel-end repairs to suspension and related parts, has some knowledge of structural repairs, and can diagnose ABS system and can perform wheel seal replacement.

Please note this position is Permanent, Full-time, Weekdays daytime shift, Mon-Fri 07:00-15:30, and subject to a modified work schedule (weekends and stat holidays are off).
