Parts Manager - Woodworking Machinery Acworth, GA 30102 | On-Site $60,000 - $65,000 Base + Bonus Potential About the Opportunity Our client is a growing industrial equipment dealership specializing in woodworking machinery and aftermarket support. This role is critical to keeping customers operational by ensuring fast, accurate parts availability and driving profitable parts sales across CNC and production equipment. Position Overview The Parts Manager will lead all parts department operations, supporting both customers and field service technicians. This role focuses on inventory management, vendor relationships, and delivering high-quality aftermarket support to minimize downtime and maximize customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities Oversee daily operations of the parts department for woodworking machinery Source, order, and manage OEM and aftermarket parts Maintain optimal inventory levels for critical components and consumables Support technicians and customers with parts identification and technical guidance Prepare quotes, process orders, and manage returns and warranty claims Monitor inventory turnover, obsolescence, and profitability Coordinate with service, sales, and operations to forecast demand Build and manage vendor and manufacturer relationships Negotiate pricing, availability, and stocking agreements Supervise and develop parts department staff Oversee cycle counts and physical inventory processes Maintain an organized, safe, and efficient warehouse environment Qualifications (Must-Have) 3-5+ years of parts management experience (industrial equipment, machinery, or dealership environment preferred) Strong mechanical aptitude with ability to read parts diagrams and manuals Experience with inventory systems or ERP platforms Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, service-driven environment Preferred Experience Woodworking machinery (CNC routers, edge banders, panel saws, etc.) Industrial consumables (tooling, blades, inserts, knives) Electrical components (motors, drives, sensors, controls) Vendor/OEM relationship management Prior leadership or supervisory experience Compensation & Benefits Base salary: $60,000 - $65,000 (based on experience) Performance-based bonus opportunities Health, dental, and vision insurance Life insurance, AD&D, and disability coverage Retirement plan options PTO and paid holidays
