- Ensures that customer satisfaction is a top priority and that customers receive excellent service and support during their visit
- Hires, trains, motivates, counsels, and monitors the performance of service drive staff
- Develop and implement strategies to increase service revenue
- Monitors and controls the performance of the department using appropriate reports, tracking systems, and surveys
- Strives for harmony and teamwork within the department and with all other departments
- Work with the dealership's sales team to ensure that service customers are given the opportunity to purchase new or used vehicles
- Understands and ensures compliance with manufacturer warranty and policy procedures
- Establishes and maintains excellent working relationships with customers to encourage repeat and referral business
- Maintains quality service repairs and minimizes comebacks. Conducts periodic spot checks of completed jobs for thoroughness and quality
- Ensures that the customer waiting areas are kept clean
- Ensures that all customers are greeted promptly and given fair estimates on costs and time required for repairs and maintenance
- Performs all other duties associated with the management of a successful Genesis dealership experience
