Service Advisor Job Responsibilities
Greet customers promptly and professionally, creating a welcoming service experience
Advise customers on recommended Ford services, repairs, and maintenance based on vehicle condition and manufacturer guidelines
Accurately write and manage service repair orders with clear, detailed information for the technician team
Communicate effectively with the service department to ensure timely and quality completion of work
Upsell Ford-recommended maintenance services, protection plans, and accessories when appropriate
Maintain consistent communication with customers regarding vehicle status, timelines, and additional service needs
Build strong customer relationships to drive repeat business and high customer satisfaction scores
Deliver outstanding customer service in a fast-paced, team-oriented Ford dealership environment

QualificationsService Advisor Qualifications
1–3 years of experience as an Automotive Service Advisor (Ford or dealership experience preferred)
Strong team-oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate effectively with technicians, management, and customers
Excellent communication and customer service skills with a professional, customer-first approach
Strong attention to detail, including accurate documentation, follow-up, and repair order management
Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced, high-volume service environment
Corporate requirements: Must be 18 years or older with a valid driver's license and clean driving record, able to pass a criminal background check and pre-employment drug screen.
