Work Hours: Tuesday - Saturday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

As the sole Auto Terminals operator of the Port of Vancouver, located on Annacis Island, we handle, accessorize, and distribute nearly 100% of all Asian-manufactured vehicle imports for the Canadian market. We serve more than a dozen of the world’s top auto manufacturers, including Toyota, Honda, Hyundai, Kia, Mazda, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Subaru, and more.

• Super competitive hourly wage – Starting rate $30.97 hr or $37.33 after 3 rd year anniversary

• Perform comprehensive exterior and interior cleaning of fleet and customer vehicles in accordance with company standards and procedures.
• Operate and maintain cleaning equipment (e.g., pressure washers, vacuums) to ensure optimal performance and longevity, store materials in compliance with safety and operational protocols.
• Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies and related materials to ensure uninterrupted workflow.
• Adhere strictly to health, safety and environmental guidelines for the handling, use, and storage of chemicals, tools, and equipment.
• Execute safe vehicle handling and movement within the facility ensuring compliance with all internal traffic and safety regulations.
• Utilize handheld mobility scanner to accurately scan and log vehicle information into internal systems.
• Input and manage data efficiently using handheld scanner to support operational processes.
• Other duties as assigned.

This Role is a Great Fit If You Have

• Minimum Grade 12 education
• Have a valid BC Class 5 (Not L/N) driver's license (a MUST) and a good driving record which can be obtained from ICBC.
• Be able to proficiently drive vehicles with manual AND automatic transmissions.
• Physical requirements : frequent walking, bending, reaching, crouching, balancing, and climbing ladders (at heights of 20 feet), pushing, pulling, and lifting (up to 40 lbs).
• Most of the work will be performed in a stooped or bent forward position and may not be suitable for those that have back issues and physical limitations.
• Must be willing and capable of working with moderate supervision.
• Able to meet production goals, commitment to quality and safe work practices
• Able to listen, comprehend and take direction well
• Able to work both independently and as part of a team
• Positive, "can-do" attitude and strong communication skills
• Dependable and punctual – excellent references required
