This role requires a keen attention to detail and a commitment to safety and quality. The ideal candidate will have experience working with various types of trailers and a strong understanding of mechanical systems. Trailer Service Mechanic Responsibilities: Perform routine maintenance on flatbed trailers, including but not limited to, brake systems, lighting, suspension, and tires. Conduct thorough inspections of trailers to identify and address mechanical issues, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations. Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues on trailers using appropriate tools and equipment. Collaborate with leadership to prioritize repairs and ensure that trailers are road-ready. Adhere to company safety policies and procedures, promoting a culture of safety in all work activities. Keep the work area clean and organized, ensuring that tools and equipment are properly stored. Assist with other duties as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor. Other projects as assigned Trailer Service Mechanic Requirements and Qualifications: High School diploma or GED required. Successful completion and passing of a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
