Hiring Tractor Trailer Mechanics!

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Perform preventative maintenance and standard repairs on trailers, chassis, and containers, including air brake systems and FHWA inspections.
• Complete work orders accurately and adhere to standard repair times and warranty guidelines.
• Follow all shop safety procedures and maintain a clean, safe work environment.
• Communicate professionally with team members and customers.
• $22/hr $34/hr (based on experience, skills, and certifications).

Required Skills:

• • Minimum 1 year of experience in semi-trailer maintenance and repair or equivalent education/military experience.
  • Ability to supply personal tools or participate in a toolbox purchase program.
  • Willingness to work outdoors and across shifts, including nights or weekends as needed.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.

Preferred Skills:

• • High School Diploma or GED.
  • DOT certification in FHWA inspections and air brakes.
  • Basic welding skills (MIG and stick).
  • Strong communication and multitasking skills.
  • Ability to work independently or in a team environment.
  • Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office.
  • Physically able to lift/move up to 50 lbs and wear required PPE.
