Are you a Certified Automotive Technician with a knack for diagnosing and resolving complex vehicle issues? Reno Vulcanizing Works is looking for a General Automotive Diagnostic Technician to join our skilled team. If you excel in advanced diagnostics, electrical systems, and troubleshooting various vehicle makes and models, we want you on board!

Daily Responsibilities:

• Perform advanced diagnostic testing on domestic and import vehicles
• Identify root causes of mechanical and electrical issues using OBD-II scanners and advanced diagnostic tools
• Repair or replace faulty components in engines, transmissions, brakes, HVAC, and electrical systems
• Conduct digital vehicle inspections and document findings through the AutoVitals platform
• Clearly communicate diagnostic findings and recommended repairs to service advisors and customers

Required Skills:

• Strong knowledge of OBD-II systems, CAN bus diagnostics, and modern vehicle electronics
• Hands-on experience with diagnostic tools such as Snap-on, Matco, and others
• Experience with digital shop platforms like AutoVitals
• ASE Certification(s) required – A1–A8 or L1 Advanced Diagnostic Certification preferred
• Minimum 3 years of experience in automotive diagnostics or a similar technician role
