Maintain and repair fire-fighting equipment and emergency vehicles including fire trucks. Diagnose, adjust, repair and service a variety of systems including heating and air conditioning, engine and emission, suspension and steering, braking and electrical systems. Inspect specialized equipment on the vehicles, such as hoses and fire extinguishers, and maintain documentation of their repair action in accordance with DA PAM 750-8. Vehicles include a variety of gasoline and/or diesel fuel powered Army tactical and commercial vessels including fire department pumpers, tankers, and wild land brush trucks. Repair actions are completed in accordance with Army 10/20 standards in accordance with applicable Technical Manuals, Safety of Use Messages (SOUM), Material Work Orders (MWO), and local directives work orders, drawings and established trade techniques
