Automotive Business Development Advisor

American Autowire is an East Coast manufacturer of restoration, modified and universal automotive wiring harnesses. Headquartered in Bellmawr, NJ; our American-made products service the needs of restoration shops, custom builders and automotive enthusiasts. Our 30 years of experience manufacturing automotive harnesses provides you the reassurance that the job is done right. American Autowire has built its customer base on two key points: outstanding service and technical support before and after the sale, as well as accurately manufactured products that provide ease of installation.

Our Opportunity:  Automotive Business Development Advisors work with customers to provide sales support through accurate and energetic communication offering our customers an excellent service experience. This role is also focused on Business Development; growing relationships with new potential dealers by conveying the benefits of carrying the American Autowire line of products.

Automotive Business Development Advisor Responsibilities & Requirements include but are not limited to:

  • Builds market position by locating, developing, defining, negotiating, and closing business relationships
  • Works with customers to provide pre and post sales support via phone and/or email
  • Assists customers with installation issues, create a positive customer experience focusing on customer retention and the highest level of satisfaction with our service
  • Ability to work in a fast paced and specialized team environment 
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills including strong written and oral abilities
  • Team player with a positive attitude
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills and Google apps, comfortable learning new software programs
  • Ability to offer input for product improvement efforts
  • General knowledge of vintage American vehicles preferred
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred with 2+ years of relevant experience
