Must be able to write an estimate using computerized estimating system                         Authority                         The body shop manager reports directly to the Director of Special Operations.                               This position directly supervises a staff of 3-15.Objectives/Activities                      1. Plan daily operations to ensure revenue goals are met                                                C. Write competitive estimates                                                D. Maintain inventory (paint, paper etc.)                                                 E. Review efficiency                                                                        F. Approves vendor billing for payment                                                                        G. Closes tickets to maximize profits                                                                        H. Monitors labor sales, profit, and expenses daily.2. Return emails in a timely manner.                                                 3. Quality Assurance                                         A. Inspect every vehicle when repairs completed to ensure that the repairs meet expectations                        B. Hire and maintain employees that are skilled and produce excellent work.                                                4. Training                                                                               A. Hire and maintain trained employees                                                B. Develop staff                                                 C. Stay up to date with EPA and OSHA regulations                                                 D. I-car and ASE certifications5.
