Our Trailer technician is responsible for repair and maintenance of: dry van trailers, lift gates, roller bed assemblies and etc. It requires basic knowledge and operation of: air brakes, electrical systems, lift gates, doors, and repair techniques of complete trailer. ? Must have at least 5 years experience as a heavy duty trailer technician (will substitute technical school experience) ? Must be proficient with Air tools, including riveting tools and body repair tools. ? Must be proficient with Heavy Duty Air Brakes. ? Must be personal computer proficient. ? Must have good written and verbal communication skills. ? Must be a self starter and self motivated. ? Prefer ASE certifications T1-T8, E3 and any other diesel ASE?s. ? Prefer ITEP training, Mercedes Benz Elite Training or Ford FACT training. ? Must be able to perform repairs from preventative maintenance up to major component replacement. ?
