We have been in business since 1981 installing and repairing most of the equipment found in car washes and auto repair shops. We are looking for two field service technicians to install and repair automotive service equipment. You get double bonus points if you have experience with car wash or air compressor repairs. Triple bonus points for speaking Spanish. JOB SUMMARY:As a service tech you will learn how to repair the equipment used by repair shops, dealerships, quick lubes, car washes, and tire stores. Candidates must have strong mechanical skills and be able to figure out new problems on their own. We work on a large variety of equipment and service manuals are often not available. Service Technicians work independently in the field and must have excellent analytical and customer service skills. Attention to detail and paperwork follow-up are essential. If you don’t like figuring things out and making decisions on your own, this is not the job you want. If you never took something apart as a kid just to see what was inside, this is not the job for you. If you carry pliers with you to church “just in case”, we want to talk to you. You don’t need to have past experience, but you do need self-confidence and mechanical ability. If a problem cannot be repaired immediately the tech is responsible for determining what material and actions are required to complete.·        The technician’s work daily with the following tools.  This includes your personal tools, any specialty tools, ladders, grinders, drills etc. each day.·        Attend daily morning meeting. Daily meetings start promptly at 7:00 AM each morning.  Participate in morning meeting offering any insight/assistance to others in the meetings and asking any questions on the tasks for the day. ·        Stock truck. Check parts bin for any restock items daily.·        Packages orders for out-of-town shipments.·        Review each service call and stock necessary material.  Check “Parts In” shelf for any items that have been specifically pulled for a job.·        Call or confirm with customer directly with any issues or scheduled demands.·        Complete all paperwork as the job is completed. ·        Fill out Work Orders·        Work on Warranty repair and parts ·        Perform maintenance checks on your assigned vehicle ·        Folds boxes for shrink wrapping.·        Assists in warehouse maintenance..·        Keeping your shop area clean and orderly needed. ENTRY QUALIFICATIONS:General knowledge of warehouse procedures.

Job Title: Auto Mechanic wanted Company: Location: Ventura, CA Description: I bought a used car and it definetly needs some work. It runs good I just want to keep it so. It is a 1994 nissan altima 2.4 manual trans. I can tell you it needs passenger side CV boot(outer), It may need a new serpantine belt, it has a power steering leakage issue,it needs to be rekeyed (ignition only) other than all that it runs pretty good and I want to keep it so as its all ive got.
