Job Title: Body Shop Technician - Boardwalk Acura Company: Group 1 Automotive Location: Pleasantville, NJ Description: Boardwalk Acura Body Shop is looking to hire an experienced Body Shop Technician Job Purpose:Repairs automotive bodies by repairing or replacing, and refinishing parts; maintaining tools and equipment; maintaining records.Job Responsibilities include but not limited to:Plans repairs by evaluating damage; preparing cost estimates; coordinating repairs with other required services; ordering and gathering parts, supplies, equipment, and tools.Refinishes body parts by mixing paints; matching colors; spray painting primer and finishing coats; applying touch-up paint.Maintains quality service by following repair standards; conducting test drive and final inspection; correcting deficiencies; obtaining approval from customer.Maintains safe work environment by adhering to work standards and practices.Perform quality repairs in a timely manner.  Job Requirements:At least two to five years experience in an auto body shop.Have a strong back-ground in frame, structural and welding procedures. Be able to work in a team oriented environment.
